ORC is a power generation method. Its name derives from the use of an organic fluid with high molecular mass - with vaporization temperature lower than water. The thermal efficiency of ORC systems can be as high as 15-20%, depending on the working fluid and operating conditions.
IE technology is an alternative to conventional and cost-uneffective heat conversion technologies. Due to lack of complex kinematics and multiple energy conversion steps, heat can be efficiently used to provide constant pressure work such liquid pumping or compression.
